Earthen Counselling
Salt Spring Island, BC
Earth‑centred, in-person, land-based counselling invites a depth of experience rooted in the landscape around us. I work with individuals locally to explore heart‑body‑mind perception in the context of the land we inhabit. Sessions move through somatics, conversation, and deepening relationship with the wild world, blending land-based therapy, movement, and relational presence.
Here, the land becomes an active guide: spaciousness, observation, and attunement to its intelligence shape our work together. Sessions honour your time and financial capacity, offering a safe, rich container that nurtures insight, embodied wisdom, and resilience, with sliding scale options to keep this work accessible to all.
I support my local clients in the following areas of their precious lives, within the living landscape we share:
Nervous system support and regulation
Earth‑centred guidance for anxiety, overwhelm, tension, and inner agitation, supported by the power, presence, and rhythms of the living landscape.
Grief, loss, and collective sorrow
Holding space for what is deeply felt, in dialogue with the land that has experienced immense loss and yet continues to regenerate, endlessly.
Identity, meaning, and life transitions
Exploring who you are becoming, in the context of your belonging within the natural world and the cycles of change around us.
Relationship patterns and communication
Deepening connection with self, other, and more-than-human kin through observation, interaction, and relational tending.
Embodied presence and somatic intelligence
Learning to feel more fully, perceive more clearly, and live more wholesomely through movement, attention, and sensory attunement in place.
Existential and spiritual exploration
Engaging with questions of meaning and purpose through direct experience with the living world as guide and mirror.
Trauma-informed care and integration
Gently tending old wounds as gestating gifts, supported by the grounding, intelligence, and resilience of the wild world.
Reclaiming creativity and co-creative capacity
Restoring creative flow and expression through dialogue with the land and interaction with the generative forces of life.
Mythopoetic, psychedelic, and ecstatic experience integration
Support in making sense of visionary, imaginal, or ecstatic states, integrating insights through embodied attunement.
The inner landscape asks us to become profoundly oriented to where we are, in every possible way.
