Earthen Counselling
West Coast, Canada
Earth‑centred, in-person ecotherapeutics invites a depth of experience rooted in the landscape. I work with individuals locally to explore heart‑body‑mind perception in the context of the land we inhabit. Sessions spiral through ecosomatics, silence and stillness, conversation, perceptual development, imaginal exploration, and other ways of deepening into greater intimacy with the wildness of the world, both within and without (though, of course, there is no real separation).
Sessions are typically $140 for 90 minutes or $220 for 180 minutes, with sliding scale options available upon request to keep this work accessible to all.
Offering a safe, rich container that nurtures natural insight and embodied wisdom, I support my local clients in the following areas of their precious lives:
Nervous system support and regulation
Earth‑centred guidance for anxiety, overwhelm, tension, and inner agitation, supported by the power, presence, and rhythms of the living landscape.
Grief, loss, and collective sorrow
Tenderly tending what is deeply felt, but often left unspoken, in dynamic dialogue with land that is no stranger to grief and loss.
Identity, meaning, and life transitions
Exploring who you are deep down, within the context of the natural world and the living cycles of change that hold us.
Relationship patterns and communication
Deepening connection with self, other, and Earth kin through active observation, attunement engagement, and relational tending.
Embodied presence and somatic intelligence
Support in feeling more fully, discerning more clearly, and living more wholesomely through attunement with place and its other-than-human people.
Existential and spiritual exploration
Engaging with questions of meaning and purpose through direct experience with the living world as mentor and mirror.
Trauma-informed care and integration
Gently tending old wounds as gestating gifts, supported by the grounding, intelligence, and resilience of the wild world.
Reclaiming creativity and co-creative capacity
Restoring creative flow and expression through dialogue with the land and interaction with the generative forces of life.
Mythopoetic, psychedelic, and ecstatic experience integration
Support in making sense of visionary, imaginal, or ecstatic states, integrating insights through ecological embodiment.
The inner landscape asks us to become profoundly oriented to where we are, in every possible way.
